Due to civil war, fencing sport was disappeared from Cambodia. Till 2006, His Excellency General CHAU Phirun, His Excellency MEAS Sarin, and former fencers, who survive from Khmer Rouge, join together to form the Fencing Federation of Cambodia again.

In March 2006, the International Fencing Federation Affiliated the FFC; in May 2006, the NOC of Cambodia also Affiliated FFC as the Olympic Sport Member. And in 2013, The Ministry of Education Youth and Sport Recognize the FFC as the National Federation of Cambodia.
