4 fencers passed the National Exam 2025

23 September 2025, Phnom Penh

On 20 September 2025, the Result Announcement of National Exam 2025 was released. There are 5 fencers are on the list and 4 of them are passed the exam. Especially, Sar Kuntheavichny made another best result in this year. She got Grade A.

This is another year for Fencing Federation of Cambodia that feel so proud to our fencers who get this far. In 2023, there are 2 fencers got the chance to study abroad; in 2024, there are 2 A, 1 C, and 2 D. And this year, we have another 1 A with 3 E.

Vichny was so happy with her afford and sharing her result to all her family and friend. Below is her expression

“I am proud to share that I received an A on my BacII exam!

What makes me happiest is not just the result itself, but how I got here. Throughout my preparation, I made sure to get 8 hours of sleep every night and dedicate my afternoons fully to fencing training. Many people think success comes only from sacrificing health or pushing yourself to exhaustion — but for me, it was about balance, consistency, and discipline.

Fencing taught me how to structure my life, how to focus on what matters in each moment, and how to give 100% whether I am on the piste or at my desk studying. This mindset helped me approach the BacII with clarity and confidence.

I may not yet have medals from fencing, but what I have gained is much more powerful — the ability to grow in both academics and sport without losing myself along the way. This A is proof that with good habits, passion, and determination, we can achieve more than we think.

This is only the beginning of my journey as a student–athlete, and I will keep working hard to grow both in the classroom and on the piste.”

At the same time, Men Monika and Te Mao who move from Stueng treng to join and live together with the Fencing team, are so happy even they got E. Monika unexpected that she passed while she was so busy between her training and study. She Spend about up to 6 hours per day and 6 days per week to training. For Mao, he expected to get D, but it is not really a bad result as he passed already.

Chor Sereymorakot feel so unhappy with the result while she is a top 10 student in class. She will go to MoEYS to make a compliance to review her exam paper.
