FIE EDU Safe Sport Series of webinars Drafting a Safe Sport National Policy

Phnom Penh, 11 Oct 2026

The FIE is pleased to announce a series of webinars dedicated to Safe Sport, continuing the initiative launched through the in-person seminars held in Hong Kong.

These webinars form part of the FIE’s ongoing efforts to implement the objectives of the FIE Strategic Plan 2025-2028, with a particular focus on promoting the well-being, protection and inclusion of athletes and all members of the fencing community.

Ensuring a safe sporting environment for athletes is a top priority for the FIE. As the heart of our sport, fencers deserve to train and compete in conditions that are fair and free from all forms of harassment and abuse.

The FIE is strengthening its safeguarding framework through a comprehensive strategy focused on supporting National Federations, developing safeguarding expertise, and raising awareness among

stakeholders.
