Cambodian fencing team donates blood to help the brave soldiers at the border
Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 15 December 2025
Under the leadership of the National Sports Training Center, the Cambodian fencing team, including the national team, reserve team, and fencers from the clubs, donated blood to help the brave soldiers of Cambodia who are protected the sovereignty on the Cambodia-Thailand border and refugees who have been affected by the war.
On the morning of December 15, 2025, a seven-member fencing team led by coach Din Sophal donated blood at the Health Sciences Institute of RCAF. This is a small contribution of our fencing team to help the brave soldiers. For other fencers who did not join this time, there are 5, which led by Coach Lean Moses, has been donated blood on November 15 during the Blood Donation Event – Donate blood, Donate Love for Cambodia, and four other fencers re preparing to donate blood to the cousin of our National Team, Thong Tang Jing, who is scheduled to undergo surgery next week.
In 2025, the Fencing Federation of Cambodia has participated in blood donation many times to help our Cambodia Fencing family members. In addition to the three times above, there are three more this year. This is part of our FFC’s Cooperation Social Responsibility activities, in addition to training to prepare for international competitions.
